Virazon II designed by NavTek Deniz Tech with INA’s archaeologists and built at Ocean Shine shipyard. We can proudly indicate that she is the first and only ship designed, built and classed specifically for archaeological research in the world while there are many research ships for general purposes. 24.95 m in length and 8.10 m in width Virazon II can accomommodate 19 people. She equipped a 5 ton capacity A frame, 500 kg. capacity crane, high pressure recompression chamber against decompression sickness, low pressure compressors for underwater excavations, high pressure compressors which can fill air and Nitrox, internal side vision and down vision sonars for locating shipwrecks.
